The photos do not do this token justice. Just a very quick hot H2O2 dip followed by a tick of face grease. It really looks much better in person. Found DSC02593.JPGDSC02594.JPG at an older school (1930s), so I think that maybe a show-and-tell item was lost. It was deep, but it has not been in the ground over a hundred years.

Awesome condition :occasion14:

A few years ago I found a Shin Plasters token like yours, but it was in much worse shape. Congrats on the winner copper - absolutely killer shape

I've only ever found one Hard Times token...yours is in about a gazillion % better condition! Congratulations!

Congrats on that beauty! We have only found one Hard Times token, but it's not a Shin Plasters one. They are such a cool relic, and yours is in fine shape! -Lisa & John
