Went out today and found 2 standing liberty quarters at the same time. Dates are wiped off both of them.. Another one off the bucket list!

Congratualtions on the two nice SLQ's! :occasion14:

Those are still very pretty even though they show no dates. Congrats on finding them.

The average wage earner before WWII didn't make much money. Pocket change was the work horse of the economy. Many Standing Liberty quarters and Buffalo nickels were worn down to just discs in circulation. When I worked in an A&P Grocery in the 1960's I'd see a lot of SLQ and Buffalo nickels, but most of them were too worn to collect even then. Still 90% silver is a good find, and it's even better to be able to cross them off your bucket list. I hope you find a Walking Liberty half dollar this year. That one has always eluded me. Thanks for sharing and Best of Luck !

Thanks guys and yes wagbert walking is def on the list

congrats, always an awesome sight to see a walker in the dirt

Two SLQ's at the same time is amazing, dated or not- Congrats!!
