.490- .495 is 50 cal. Yours looks smaller ,maybe.
You could measure it's diameter and compare to .32 cal , . 36 cal ect. Pistol or rifle maybe too.
A barrel could be rebored or built originally for a variety of calibers.
A rebore / freshening could give an odd size and a bullet mold made to fit it.
Date hard to tell ,the context or layer of known relics it was in might help. Harder with mixed generations using a site.

Needs to be measured with a caliper for anyone to be able to accurately give you caliber.

Might be buck n ball too.

Other alternative is a "squirrel" gun. Sometimes ball was hammered or otherwise hand formed.
