Not a photo however I am trying to find if there may be any information on whom the artist of this art is. Looks like it is signed DARR or DAR as shown.
Also looks like to me maybe from the 1960's to 1980's era. Any and all information on this is appreciated. Thanks to all in advance ....

Not to my taste, but this might perhaps be by Igor Darr. Although his usual signature seems to include the ‘I’ for Igor, artists do vary their signatures from time to time:

Darr.jpg

He was born in Russia, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Krasnodar in 1982 and then trained at the Academie of Arts in St. Petersburg. Unable to reach his full potential within Russia, he relocated to Canada in 1994 and I believe he currently lives in Montreal. He has exhibited in Europe and North America since then and works in abstract expressionist styles.

You can see some of his work on his facebook page at the link below. Drop him a message with a picture and I’m sure he will confirm whether the work is his or not and what it was originally titled if it is one of his:

high similarity to this one also signed “DARR”:

It certainly is and the signature looks identical. Priced at $200.00 US makes me feel like I got a decent deal as I got it for $21.00 Canadian funds.... Nice to know, thanks for posting...
