I don't want to ship but I would drive 75 miles or so to meet a buyer. Maybe some members in Illinois or Wisconsin might be interested before I put it on craigs list.

I bought this a few years ago and used it approximately 10-15 times, at most, all in fresh water lakes. Only 3 times in the last 5 years.

I believe it is the equivalent of a current F285X Hookah Diving System that Brownies sell now $2,795.00 - $3,460.00 except mine is already setup for 3 divers.

Supposedly good for 2 divers to 80' and 3 to 50'. I have never been deeper the 20-25' and most of my detecting was in 10' or less.

Has a Honda 4hp, 3 Oceanic low pressure regulators, 60' down hose w/ 3 20' hoses that connect to the 60'. 3 tow belts , extra fittings , heavy duty carry bag for all the gear.

Also included is a aluminum air reservoir that would give the divers a additional 10-15 breaths in case the motor stopped. I personally never had a malfunction with this unit, but better safe then sorry.

Basically you get all that is shown.

I am asking $1600.00

Hi Mike, Yes, Brownies is over 30 years old, you seem quite familiar with them. They are as you likely know highend hookah and mostly saltwater, lots of yachts carry one onboard for repairs or recreation, and lobster drivers love them.

It made 100% of goal after less than 1.5 days, $50,000 of has been sold so far in a day and a half, quite impressive. So the project is on, they are now committed to deliver by Dec. I bot two pack, an extra battery and one backpack for myself, the other unit is for my gold mining partner. The single units are $349 and see only 12 are left. (Link deleted by mod, rule infraction) The 6 packs were sold out and they raised the price afytre that by $300 for sixpacks and pushed delivery out till Feb on them, dive shops were buying them is what here. Cheaper than they will be wholesale in future.

For full disclosure am an inventor and wanted something just like this for river mining in backcountry. Came up with idea for an electronic regulator and super portable hookah dive system. Approached Brownies to market it. They were already working on an ultraportable, but not as portable as Nemo, but then they bot Xplokle invention from John Colburn. John did come up with electronic regulator indepently about 4 months before I did. BTW works fantastic, uses 10% of power of any other electric dive system at same depth. That is how you can dive over an hour on a roughly fist sized battery.

So dropped my project and assisted Brownies on theirs. So yes am confident Brownies will produce it. Have talked with several people that have dived on them as in those video shots, and they love it. Still have not got a prototype sent to me to test, but maybe in 2-3 weeks (I am west coast). For me gold dredging and underwater metal detecting is plan. Plus crevicing down to 10 feet in wilderness hike in areas.

I will write up a separate post on it as new thread.

Cheers

Thanks Dredgerdana, I also invested in one as soon as I read your link yesterday. A single for now. I also will be using as a river unit here in the northwest corner of California for sniping and metal detecting underwater.

What at a great idea,
Mike

Dropped price to $1500 ...

If I lived closer I would snap it up. Good luck, someone will be very happy with it.
