✅ SOLVED Brooch?? Buckle??

A friend of mine found this and can't identify it. Thought maybe you guys could help. It seems to be brass... about 2"x3"...similar to a buckle on back but it runs the long length of it. (Sorry no back pic). I will try and post more pics. Thank you all. <°))))><

Judging by the front and the description of the back only, it looks like a Victorian sash buckle.
