Bronze spikes?

Maybe some other copper alloy? All found at a beach producing old coins and relics. Even after rinsing and soaking in vinegar, they still have some blue/silver coating on them in spots. They have kind of a chisel point on them. No two alike, so, probably hand made. Something nautical?

Is there a year range where these types of spike were used?

This site gives a decent summary of the history of copper sheathing, but summarize: usage picked up in the 1700s, continued through the mid 1800s and declined in the late 1800s. So a rough range of about 200 years of widespread use, ramping up and declining towards either tail.
