Hi all, I found this along the river in Buffalo NY and I was hoping someone knows what it is. the seal on the front says "Emil A. Saenger Inc. Buffalo NY" with a large S in the center, and the bottom is stamped "Metal Arts co. Rochester NY Genuine Bronze. Me and my wife are guessing some type of advertising that held something, but I'm probably way off base. Any help is appreciated, Thanks, Carl

There is a reference to Emil A. Saenger in the July 24th, 1922 edition of "Crockery and Glass Journal" as a N.Y. Buyer. He is listed under Toys. This is very intriguing!! Could it be a display rack?

The other reference that I'm finding seems to indicate that Mr. Saenger was associated with the candy making industry. This is from the International Confectioner, Volume 30. Seems that he was a distributor for a confectioner's stove.

Nice find carlluvscorinne. Now, I found their advertisement in Fine Catalogue Work dated 1912. It appears they were in the Bakery business (if this is them...).

Could be...I don't see anything that resembles it in that link though, but that doesn't mean its not part of something. It doesn't look like it was heated or scorched anywhere and the bottom is marked "Metal Arts Co. Rochester NY.
