Hello fellow TNers.

The picture below is of a thing I found yesterday at my favorie hunting spot, a coastal WW2 german bunker.
It's like a ring with an internal rim that holds a black rubber disk with a cental hole, like someone has pierced it. It's made either of copper or brass/bronze, 2,5 cm in diameter, 1,3 cm high but it looks like it has been hammered on the top side...
There are some markings reading "RYW", then a circle with a center dot like a target, "KIWA NF 22", where the "NF" (? I think...) is in an oval frame.
This item could be some tossed modern junk, I have no clue, somebody suggested that it could be part of a flare.
Any help appreciated.

I would think some kind of water check valve.

Thanks nova treasure I think I found what it could be, KIWA is a corporation that gives certifications to technological supplies, so it's some kind of water or gas pipe end cap I guess...

Anyone know what "RYW" stands for?

No I'm in Greece.
Oh, electric fuse cap you think... ok.
Thanks all.
So "RYW" could mean "Red Yellow White"? Right?.... Or...

If it were threaded, I would say it's the cap from a vertical sight glass tube. Tony
