Any help is appreciated on this one. Obviously part of something else, but what? The hole in the figure's head is threaded. The ones in his feet are not. None of the holes are very deep.

Regards,

Buckles

Hey Buckles, Your statue appears to be from either a Victorian brass Figural Clock (probably French) or either a Victorian brass Figural candelabra. More than likely yours was on a candelabra since he has a hole in his head as well as his feet. The Vic. figures were dressed in an array of clothing or the lack there of .. .meaning some were cherubs. GOOGLE 'Victorian Figural Clocks' and then 'Figural Candelabra' and you'll see lots of examples; hopefully we can find your little guy. GREAT find! Breezie

Breezie darlin, ( about your quote)
We did win. Is there a yankee city you'all would actually want to live in? They have all the poverty, crime, unemployment and urban decay there is in the country. They are like rats leaving a sinking ship now. Worst of all, they are all coming here(Texas). We still are a southern state, many still fly the colors, but we had a unique experience. We had to fight Comanches and yankees, though not at the same time. So win we did. And bless them, every time they buy a pack of smokes or a towel, they make your state richer. And every time they hit the gas station Texas drills another well.
