I've been treating my coil charging clip with care after reading all the reports of broken clips. It finally snapped while I was taking it off the coil this morning. The sad part is, I had already purchased a back-up, but can't find it. So I ordered another one. :tongue3:

One is none; two is one...

I bought my Déus in April of last year, so my clip hung in there for a year and a half. I guess I can't complain!

I modified my charging clip using two screws and a small spring. It works much better and should last a long time. Going on almost a year so far.

XP needs to do this. They should be ashamed that they haven't fixed that really terrible design! I can imagine that they thought it was clever when they designed it, but it frankly does not hold up. (I also have a spare, plus one of those orange 3D printed replacements).

Both pins are there, one's behind the other.

I found my spare... it was in the car with my spare charging harness.

I may try "The Tom Slick Modification" on my broken one. :icon_thumleft:

That's the truth.

My new clip seems even stiffer (if possible) than the original one. I cringe when I put it in place on the coil. I have the feeling it won't last long. It's a very poor design, XP!!!

Just get a charging clip from "Detecting Doodads".
It's a solid block of plastic and is well made.
Had mine for a year now - no problems !

One is none. Two is one. And if you have three, you’ll only need that first one :)
