Broke 100 at the Pennyfield

Found 4 more pennies in the 25' x 50' yard at the park, bringing the total for this site up to 100! Also found a half- decladded 2000 quarter, a wire rod (DOWSING ROD?!?) and this rather nasty, very thin knife.

Oldest was 1970. This park is from at least 1918 (photo in the boro hall), but in 1995 it was completely redone. The Pennyfield was an overgrown, uneven mess, and was backfilled in 1995 using dredgings from the pond. Not likely to find anything but modern clad here. The old pavilion, however, might yield some good stuff, if I can sift out all the junk in the ground.
