Hi tinpan, the third shiny button looks like Royal Navy Reserve early 20th century. Pics of their backs would help alot if you can :thumbsup:

Hi hammered , due to living in a very dusty place my cameras macro doesn,t work as well as it use too but heres the back of the buttons

From what I can make out "Jennens & Co" up to 1912. The other one I can make out is " J R GAUNT & Son", this was until recent, described as well after 1899. Here is a link for button makers and their dates, cos of the dust in in your lens, (of all the excuses Tinny :laughing7:), just too much VB in my opinion :tongue3:
