I was going through the many of the world coins i`ve acquired and found this.
This photo session will make the second time i`ve opened this 25Pence since i got it in England during my military service there.
I can`t remember where i bought it or how much i paid for it so i`m still not sure its a 25 pence piece.
The bird monogram on the plastic case i`ve not been able to find online.

Thanks for everyone's two shillings in advance :icon_sunny:

Yours is #2.
The reverse side is an original design by Arnold Machin, showing the ampulla and anointing spoon that were used in the coronation ceremony. These had been renovated for the coronation of Charles II, are believed to date respectively from the 14th and 12th centuries, and to be the oldest items in the Regalia to have remained in continual use.

Don....

Thanks scott
It weighs in at 28.3g on my scale. :icon_sunny:

Have you ever seen it in that plastic cover?

The plastic cover was probably the way it was issued as a proof, IMO. Put it back in and try not to get fingerprints on the coin. Best to use cotton gloves.
