I don't know my coins yet but I know I haven't found this yet. It's 21.75mm, 3 grams(.10 ounces)
My 15 yr old daughter is using her young eagle eyes but we can't get the date or find the proper silhouette. She says KG 2 farthing. Also found the snap with leather and the button.

Thanks for helping.

I see 1779 or 1749? Yes the coin image does look right for KG 2 Farthing. I think I just read they weren't made after 1775-1777?

I think 1749, King George II. 1779 would be in the reign of KGIII (plus there weren't any farthings issued that year).

Congratulations on the old copper!

It is a George the 2nd farthing. They were made from 1730-1754. I can see a 9 as the last digit meaning it would have to be a 1739 or 1749.
