Okay, let's try this. If that is what the bank gets then that is all you will get. the bank uses ONE supplier and one only. If they don't get Brinks then they can't order you Brinks. Just order the boxes and don't worry about telling them what company.

This question has been asked many times. As enamel said, The banks only have one supplier. Now that supplier may be different from area to area but Just be happy if you find a bank that will order you coin to search for free. GL! IS.

I just want to correct the notion that ALL banks only have 1 supplier.

It's likely that MOST bank branches only use 1 supplier, but there are some banks that have branches that use multiple suppliers.

I have a few around me that use multiple suppliers. There is even 1 that has a single armored car service that delivers varied boxes, sometimes they are Garda and sometimes they are Brinks, but ALWAYS delivered by Garda.

Damn sorry I asked.
You asked a question and I answered it. Don't take it out of context. There was no malice intended in my answer.
As for the post about getting different boxes at the same bank, there could be a simple answer for this.
1) said supplier ran out of coin and bought from a competitor.
2) a customer dropped off different boxes at bank.
3) excess boxes from banks were picked up and dropped off on reshipment.

I was curious on this to. What service supplies String boxes? I was going to 2 different BoAs in my area. Then hit up another one in the next town over. Found I got a different box. Looked and they were Loomis rolls. So curious which car service has the string rolls because thats what I had been getting.
Always up for searching something new. Thru 5 rolls of nickels I've gotten 7 Pre 1960 hits.
