Bright's Wines Est. 1874 - 1 gallon jug
My husband was given a jug by his grandmother before she passed away in the early 90's. The bottle/jug was very old. It is a one gallon size clear glass jug/bottle. I have found a picture on Worthpoint (ebay?) but it won't let me copy it here. The jug has a black metal screw top that says Bright's Wines. The jug looks like it has a large tag/nameplate suspended by a rope hanging around the neck of the bottle (all done in the glass). On the bottom of the jug it has "NO 51" with a "3" above it towards the center and what looks like a D in the center of the bottle.
I will try to get a picture of it and post it here, but in the meantime, does anyone have any ideas on this?
