Hi all,
Today was a perfect day weather-wise and I was honored to be invited by two guys in my MDing club to hunt with them. We started at an old farm house. After digging awhile I got a decent signal on the edge of an old flower garden. I dug and saw big glass, thinking it was a doorknob or huge marble. Instead, my first bridle rosette which has been at the top of my relic wish list. Huzzah!
Next we hit some property along a lovely lake. We all found numerous wheats but no silver. I found a cute little sterling ring, initialed "kRa." I ended up with $2.53 in coins, 6 wheats, 1941 nickel, and a fillet knife. It was such a nice day and I couldn't think of a better way to spend it with good friends.
