Breast Plate of some sort??PLEASE HELP

Hey everyone, i was just wondering if you guys could help me figure out what the heck this is??its made like a breast plate with brass in the front with a lead backing...sorry for the crappy pics i need to get a new camera this is off my cell phone....I really dont know what to make of it so any help would be greatly appreciated....I thought maybe some sort of french soldiers plate or something....maybe a clock pendelum...Ive heard of them being made like that but ive never seen one...Thanx again

Maybe a bridle rosette? Your best clue might be how it was attached to harness or pendulum shaft.

That's perty trk5..........grrrrrr....Wouldnt I just love to dig up one only one.......I have the U.s. now I want to dig an eagle......grrrrr....

the only reason i compared it to a breast plate is because its made just like one(brass in front lead in back)its almost exactly the same size and weight, and i found it at a house site where 2 breast plates and a US boxplate were found.......

Thats exactly how the back looks, lead in the back and brass in the front.Thats what i was thinkin it was (clock pendelum)Ive never seen one before thats why i was unsure....Cool thats probably what it is...Id still like to see something like it though cool thanx for the help
