And if you don't fish from your living room you might get arrested. Great. I called the local police here and they told me they did not want people out in their cars.

First cat this is Pennsylvania .

Second, This is America.

What they Want & Don't Want Doesn't much Matter.

They don't want people Staying Behind in a Hurricane Either :tongue3:

No fishing here, except in my toilet and that's definitely "catch and release"! Get out there Jeff and wet a line! I use to fish a ton of PA's great trout streams and really miss being there!

I Haven't fished for anything but Sunny's in a pond as a Kid,
& Eels in my early 20's

I Just figured someone does

PA has a lockdown order also.

I think your Misinterpreting Lock-down then.

with the Exception of Non Essential Businesses & Schools , it Doesn't look like a Lockdown here :

RE READ : The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC), in consultation with the Office of the Governor, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), opened the statewide 2020 trout season at 8 a.m. today.

look to you like the Government Locked us Down ? :tongue3:

Thank God I have about 1/2 mile of a trout stream running through the farm where I live. Great thing about Pa is you can walk through any ones property to fish the creeks. Last year I caught 16 for the year,4 were saved for smoking on the grill. MmmmMmm

We've got trout too...:occasion14:

Sorry guys I am on the crappie this year. Yum yum yum yum yum I love fishing.

We've got crappie here, but I'm sad to say I've never made much
of an effort to catch any. Best fishing for them would be over the
mountains on the East side of the state.

When I was a kid my family and I liked to camp down on the Colorado
River (Lake Mead), and we had some favorite coves where we could
really slay the crappie...big 'un's, too. Fillet out a dozen, fry 'em up
and eat 'em like popcorn..:occasion14:

Nice Striper Roger..are you catching those inland?

Not many stripers this far up the coast, but we do have these swimming
around in our rivers. I took my dad for a driftboat fishing trip on the legendary
Hoh River, and I ended up with a 42 lb. King Salmon...and yes, it was delicious. eating-02.gif

Don't know why they don't stock the lake with' Big Lake Trout' its 300 ft. deep and clean enough with plenty of bait ??? 013.JPG

We didn't get to fish trout last year on April 1st and our lockdown was just extended to March 29th, so I emailed the DNR to see if we will have an opener this April. Will report back...
