Yep, that was worth the trip out. :thumbsup: I never find any with the middle intact.

The ground wasn't frozen in the woods, so not very long but it was quite deep down :icon_thumright:

Same here, but equally I never find anything other than cartridges in the woods. I wish I could do better, as the finds should be in better nick :tongue3:

I do have a few fields but i mainly hunt the woods, ive found tones of stuff from roman coins to a hoard of carwheel pennys
 

I must admit, I have been buckle deprived. I found a few, absolutely plain small square ones, but not one that you'd want to remember. I do find a lot of Salami lead seals though.
