Smarty pants!

Same conditions at Pere Marquite in Muskegon.

I love it when the water freezes up solid. I had some of my best (In the water) hunting after a those deep freezes... 2015 the bay was a skating rink, I dug 123 gold rings that year. Seems the frozen top forces the current and waves to move lots of sand under the solid top ice, than once you can get in the water when the ice melts to a point you can break up large sections and push them under the next ice shelf, targets every where..

Video from 2016, which I had another great year, think that one was 105 GR's.

Looks like Alabama last week when we had zero wind chills, ice and snow around for a week!

With that kind of history I need to get out my insulated chest waders and some gauntlet gloves and head for Grand Haven...
