it looks like a shoe spoon.Ok Rainmaker you can stop the rain now.We have about 3/4" of ice So far.LOL Welcome to tnet

Similar to a marrow scoop/spoon, but not quite. I'd guess it had been plated at one point, brass being a good base for for plating... Any signs of that?

I downloaded a few of your pics and lighten them. It looks like you have a 'mammy made' pewter double headed spoon of some type, which could have been used for measuring or scooping. I saw 2 hand carved initials that appeared to be a T.O. or a T.G., which I'm assuming was the maker.

I wonder if the man that lived here worked at a foundry that was located about 5 blocks from here?
