Merry Christmas everybody,
I got a box of misc coins for a present and inside it was this token. A cursory search turned up nothing. Does anybody know the meaning of "SUCC DITTA DIEGO SALA". It looks like a miner's tag or a RR baggage tag.

Don't know if this helps, but "SUCC" has to be an abbreviation and perhaps for "SUCCESSIONE". The term "SUCCESSIONE DITTA" would be used in Italian by a business that had taken over from a well-established one or was under a new name/ownership to advertise itself as the "Successor to... [the Diego Sala Business]".
Many businesses used these kinds of terms to help maintain customer loyalty and goodwill.
