Cosmos Shipping Lines (Pvt.) Ltd., the maritime arm of the Cosmos Group, was established in 1978 with the aim of offering efficient agency services to the foreign vessels calling at the Bangladesh ports. Since then it has emerged as one of the country’s largest handlers of cargo in terms of tonnage. The company maintains offices at the port cities of Chittagong and Khulna/Mongla. Our both branch offices are well equipped with the modern communication facilities with efficient and skilled officers/staff to cater professional services to the principals/owners.

Well, it was in November 2007, NINE years ago that the poster MARTYN started this thread ... and I resurrect it today with a positive identification. I guess Martyn never found his camera and like that, he also seems to have disappeared, but this is what he found:

On the premier Scottish detecting forum - detectingscotland.com - a member posted a lot of finds, and thought this was a token of some kind. The member 'jagsteve' pointed out that "a cosmos line is a tool brickies and builders use, like a wind-up chalk line. That disk would've been on the end of the line to stop the end being reeled inside." Sometimes it takes a while to identify an artefact ... well done, Steve!
