I found this Brass/Bronze piece in a tailings pile in Northeastern Oregon. Looks like some sort of shim. Its the same on each side. Its 3 1/16" tall, 2 1/4" wide and 7/16" thick. The recessed part is about 3/8" thick. IMG_4101.jpg

I have three suggestions;
1) Something to keep handy to puzzle visitors
2) Some sort of electrical connector
3) A very cool, influenced statement by a famous sculptor, probably called something like - Legs with Head :tongue3:

and a previously unannounced, 4th guess - part of a gate valve :icon_scratch:

Cheers, Mike
