✅ SOLVED Brass pin; owl in a horseshoe?

Found this a few weeks ago and haven't been able to find a match anywhere.



The material is brass and on the back there aren't any maker's marks, but what looks like the stump of a broken off pin. Any idea what this is from and a relative age?

Nailed it Deftone; thank you! It's interesting that I also found a tie clip in this yard too. Must have been a lot of foot traffic in the late 1800's.
