Found today at an old house IMAG1325 (1).webpplace. It has 36 circular balls around the edge and ropes encircling most of the interior. Has no back marks. Afraid to clean heavily. Anyone know what this is? Thanks for viewing the thread.

Looks like an old suspender clip to me. There are many different styles. Looks old. Nice find.

Thanks for the identity information. The imprint on it is very odd. The 36 balls could represent 36 US states in 1860. Could it be that old? Encircled with rope and holding them together.

Yeah look's like a type of suspender Clip Piece to me as well , & a nice one at that (very decorative).

I just looked at the "Suspender Clip Showroom" Started by buckleboy a few years back.
look there for any 'matches' or near matches.
