Brass lock Eagle & Co (U.S.A) How old !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all this is the brass lock found yesterday ,cleaned up.Has Eagle @ Co lock Terryville !!! U.S.A.Any info on its age please.

Another good one! The Eagle Lock Company of Terryville, Connecticut operated from 1854 to 1976. Although some of their padlocks bear patent dates as early 1867, Eagle's general line of padlocks reportedly was introduced sometime around 1870-80. Before that, they mainly made cabinet and trunk locks. Could find a date listing for this particular brass lever padlock, but it's about 100-120 years old. One price guide values it at $15 U.S.
