Hi all,

My dad passed away last month and while having to sort out the belongings, I came across this brass letter opener which is obviously a promotional item from an old car show, Nash Airflyte, Chicago.

I have found absolutely nothing on it's worth at all and hoping , just maybe someone can give me a hint of what it may be worth.

Thank you much.

Hi,

Yeah I knew it was a promotional brass propeller letter opener from the Nash series automobiles (recall the Little Nash Rambler song), and was made between 49-51. Looking through books, Internet and asking local dealers, no one seems to have a price on this or much of a record of it for that matter. It must have some value, especially since it's not that common an item, just can't figure out how much of a value.

Thanks for the reply.

Paul
