Brass lamp back found unknown ???

Today up in northern iowa I found this large brass i think lamp back .. Can anybody tell me what this is ? Model a or t or bike lamp something hunk of brass

Looks like about 6" diameter and 2" deep inset concave shaped kinda fluted ...

Hey guys I been searching google images but still not sure either there was a lot of coal mining in iowa but this piece was found near a river in an old 1900's iowa park that later became a golf course then back to a park after a couple big floods washed the golf course fairways away lol
