Hello TNetters,
I found this at a local farmstead that was built in 1911 and occupied off and on until 1995. It is solid brass and has a small tube that slides in and out of one end. It appears to be like other brass oil lamp parts I have seen on the forum. But, I defer to the experts for an identification. The overall length of the item, with the small tube fully pushed in, is 2 1/2 inches. Thanks for any help and happy hunting. This site also produced 1934 and 1942 Wheaties and a solid brass pointer/telescopic car antenna today. Sub
