I found these in the attic of an abandoned house I've been searching . I think they are some sort of candle holder or incense burner . They look pretty old . I'm mostly wondering what the markings on the bottom mean . It took me a while to find the whole set because they were scattered about . I finally found the last saucer yesterday . Thanks for any info !

It kind of resembles one of those old Turkish Tea sets that had porcelain removable cups. You always find the best stuff...where do you hunt...antiques store attics!!!!!

I would put it in the realm of Turkish. I think the star and Moon is national symbol.. Probably had some type of insert in cup holders.
Could the IS perhaps stand for Istambul / who knows, just a guess.
