Cant say as thou ive ever found or even seen one of these. The object on the left in the photo is brass and about 2 inches long. The tip is not broken so its not part of say a pair of scissors. It was found at a circa 1860's house location. It appears to me to be maybe something to do with rug making or leather?? I know what the porcelain object is.... its a circa 1900 David Mayer brewing company beer top found at this same location.
