Brass HIGH/LOW indicator plate anyboby know what it's from?

Found this yesterday at an old farm house, it's about 7" long and 1" wide and 1/8" thick and made of brass.

It might be necessary to clean up the back and looked for markings, as there's so many things it could be off of.

There's nothing on the back. I was thinking it might be the gear indicator for a tractor or some other piece of equipment.
