Trigger guard.

Pa. looking school /style , though there were multiple Pa. schools.

Definitely a trigger bow. Whether flintlock or percussion is difficult to tell. It looks to be of a narrower & later style

That’s pretty neat, I never would have thought trigger guard

If all my books weren't toted up for safe keeping, I'd look for a match of it. 8 months out and we're still doing post Hurricane Michael repairs.

Irma left me without electric or water for a whole month and I could not get any assistance from Fema because they said they couldn't view the property. They said the road is flooded and Im in an evacuation zone. . I said no kidding! that should qualify me! I even offered to drive them in with my truck. But I got no help because Fema refused to drive in on a flooded road and inspect my property. And it was hot in South Florida.

Nope, it’s not a trigger guard , it’s the worlds ugliest drawer pull...............on second glance, yeah, it’s a trigger guard, go find the butt plate, nose cap and side plate........we wonna see

Triggerguard for sure, but not definitely not from a flintlock. It is most likely either late flintlock or percussion era.

Wow, what a great looking trigger guard find! :occasion14:
How come the miscellaneous brass relics I find never look like that.

Congrats,
Dave
