The brass finial could be the top to vintage andirons. The 6 inside of your ring, could be the size. The next to last item looks like the face to a cufflink to me too. Neat finds, Breezie

I was thinking the same thing, but why would there be a hole in the top? Also, it doesn't appear broken, but made this way. Thanks for your input!

I'm thinking there was a hole in the top for another small finial to fit. Many of the Victorian andirons had a pointed or semi-pointed top atop of a bulbous piece. Look at the attached pic, and you can see where the small, skinny finial is separate. Breezie

Could be the way it was made, Maybe it fit down over a shaft and had a threaded end for a screw to hold it on,jmho............................HH
