I don't know what the heck this thing is. It has a great signal and looks like brass poking through the edges. Maybe a link from a bracelet or necklace? There are two brass pins sticking out on opposite ends and some brass showing through in the corners. The rest of it seems like some sort of composite, bakelite, or epoxy type material. It's not as hard as stone or ceramic, but doesn't scratch easily. I have since hit it with a file and it shows more brass toward the edges all the way around. Just seems weird to have brass inside this hard material where it wouldn't be seen. Any ideas?
