I found this along the road that I previously found the 1769 Hibernia copper and the 1786 Connecticut copper. This was in the same layer so it seems likely that it is also late 1700's in age.
Not much to go on from looks, but I wanted to post it in case anyone recognizes it. You can faintly see that there were horizontal lines every 2mm originally giving it a banded look. Not sure if there's anything left of a maker's mark on the back but it looks like there was a pin or other metal piece sticking out of it. Wish it were a coin, but if anyone can confirm what it is and that it's from the 1700's I'll be happy.
