how about.....5 add 8 = 13, 13 is an unlucky number and he is an unlucky bull :D

Souviener from Spain or Mexico... maybe from a corner gift shop. Common touristy thing is to hit a bull fight while in country.

Just a guess.

As said it was probably the brand on the bull(used to identify ones cattle as his own and is registered to him)Often numbers are painted on the bulls in the bullfights I seen in Spain.Maybe #58 was some famous bull and it was a famous fight?

Exactly. It may had been Zalamero or Murcielago. Those 2 bulls were spared and put out to pasture for breeding. Those two are the only ones that come to mind for comparison. They are called INDULTOS (spared/pardon)

Had an uncle who owned part of a Carta Blanca beer bottling company which sponsored the bullfighting art.
