Brass buckle and BS neckerchief slide

20 minute hunt with the new AT-Gold produced 2 quick finds.

Does anyone have a clue on this buckle? Use, type, age? I figured I'd flip it over and see Chicago or Doobie Brothers affixed to it, but thankfully no. Found in an area I've dug several musket and Minie balls.
Also...
Is there a way to guess on age for the neckerchief slide? Thank you.

The BS slide could be old or more modern, they look the same today as they did long ago only the modern ones are thin metal easily bent, does this one appears to be made well and of a heavier metal or thin metal?

It has tabs and not the older riveted backing. The tabs are pretty much unbendable.

I would say it older, the ones made today the tabs are easily bent, could be from the 50s or 60s, not sure when they went to the tabs.
