Brass Badge type thing found at park

Found this at local park and have done search's on it with no luck.

The small print says (IOWA STATE CAPITAL),the image on it is the state capital building.It looks like it had a pin on back at one time.

The interlinked hoses lead me to believe that it is a Fire Department badge...check with your local FD.

You're right...they do look like crossed cannons. I guess as a fire fighter I immediately saw straight bore nozzles. ;D

I'm guessing that this is a badge from a veteran's encampment at the Iowa capital.

Similar to this one:

They don't do stuff like this much anymore, but way back, the old vets would get together on a regular basis and the organizers would hand out badges and medals and ribbons and other stuff to commemorate the occasion.
