I have been contemplating getting a metal detector for some time. I had one as a kid and have always had the bug. I ordered the Ace 250 today!! I live in NC so I am looking forward to some great sites to hunt. Beach, Civil War, Old plantations EVERYWHERE! lol If any of you have any suggestions feel free to let me know and I will gladly listen as a newbie

Congrats on the new detector. If interested, you might find somebody here, not far from you, that you could hunt with.
