Howdy everyone!
I just purchased (this past weekend) my first metal detector at a yard sale. I was so excited to get out there and find something, anything at all, but didn't have a chance till yesterday. So I braved the upper 30 degree temp and mid teens wind and off I went. I was able to stand the weather for about 1 1/2 hours during which I found 18 aluminum cans and 1 chunk of metal with a hole for a bolt in it. So basically I came home with a bag of trash. On a positive note things can only get better right?
The metal detector I bought did not come with instructions so honestly I really have no idea how to do anything other then turn it on. But at least it does beep when I go over metal which is a good thing right?
I live in Newton, NC. If anyone lives nearby and would entertain spending a little time with an old fart helping me learn a little about my detector that would be wonderful. My name is Jay and I would love to hear from you.
