Went out to Lake Odessa today and my father found this item. We have no idea what it is. Thought you guys might be able to help.

If you turn the first picture upside down it looks like a side table to me. The word might be "BAYNE"?

Since the word appears to be backwards, maybe a printing plate?

Yes I think a printing plate too. Perhaps made by the Jame Bayne Co. of Grand Rapids, Michigan. They were known for their work with furnture photographs and printed material.

I think the old newspaper for lake o used to be in that area in fact i think it used to stand right where the park is if its the one im thinking of with the big wooden play set!
