✅ SOLVED braided copper-brass ring

This heavy braided ring appears to be copper/brass. The clip piece may have been attached but separated from the ring when I recovered the ring. I have placed the clasp on the ring at the attachment points. This piece has me stumped. From the age of the nearby home this could be early 1900s or, perhaps late 1800s.

Doing further research, once I was given the identity of the piece, it is evident that it has all the parts of a ladies Victorian era sash buckle. I offer the following series of pictures from which you'll see all the separate parts that are featured by the piece I dug yesterday (general location: Lake Montebello, Baltimore, MD).

Thanks Tommy! A real stumper for me right out of the hole (down at least 9 inches). Now it all makes sense. If I had any doubt that the Equinox 600 with stock coil can hear deep, this resolves that question.
