Of course I may have been his first Customer Ever :dontknow:

6 pounds of Ground Round @ $4.99 a Pound = $8.99 yesterday ($1.50 a Lb)

walked into the meat market yesterday and there was a new kid, looked fresh out of high school
who immediately asked to help. I asked for 6 pounds of ground round.
as he was digging in the meat I walked over and got a 12 pack of kaiser buns. $3.05
my next and last request was 2 pounds of Cooked Ham. Normally $2 a pound, cost 6.10 must have went up

he worked up the order and said that comes to $14.00 :coffee2:

I Say Somethings Wrong :o should be over $30.00 :o

he said Nope $14.00

Did you give me 6 Pounds of Ground Round ?

he held it up Yep See ! :o

did it go down that much ? he said Yep.

I looked at the Price on the Counter Glass $4.99 a Lb.

so I shut up . hey I tried , he didn't want to hear it.
and everyone else was in the kitchen having a laugh over something :dontknow:

I guess I could have gone over his head, but didn't want to ruin his first day
Especially if he was from the 1970's :tongue3:

allot of people may have been pleasantly surprised too

I was given too much change back once by like 10 dollars. When I told her she gave me too much change she started loudly saying I was trying to rip her off (by giving her money back?!). Since other customers were now looking at me, I just smiled and left. Oh well.

that happens to me occasionally , I must admit at least Once after a Discussion, She convinced me I was the one adding wrong.
of course my excuse, I did the math in my head a bit too fast I'm sure.

I always worry when I bring up they gave me too much they would somehow get offended.
so I don't always question amounts in or against my favor.

but when it's obvious I at least try to understand before leaving the counters.

I do always get suspicious when they run my card,
then say I need to run it again because something went wrong.
