Re: Brad Meitzer's decoded/confederate gold

We discussed it in another thread. General consensus, it sucked. Not quite to the level of the Jesse James KGC treasure program, but close. It was television for greenhorns.

"Brewer" is the biggest fraud. He's done a book and now a TV show.

"Robert" glad you never did get your hands on that Jesse James site in Arkansas.

Does anybody have good leads for Connecticut?

I didn't see that episode but I've seen other episodes of that show and I think it's bs.

Re: Brad Meitzer's decoded/confederate gold

I am wondering if there is any gold in Connecticut.

Sam yes there is gold found in ct nickel mine brook that runs thru woodbury thomaston watertown and torrington. Place nugets were found by irish train workers buliding bridges along the river it is said the train company had to hire more fresh off the boat to replace the ones that decided to pan the river for gold then build a bridge. Alsi the leatherman in thomaston used to pay in gold nuggets he claimed to have got out of the naugutuck river in the mid 1800's.
