I found this token the other day near the Ohio River in KY. I've looked them up and can't seem to be able to tell exactly what it is used for. I was wondering if you of you guys have ever ran across anything like this? It's about the size of a half dollar and I'm not real sure what it's made of. Maybe copper? Any help would be great...

With a lighter picture of the reverse and measurement in millimeters of your token that site can be used to determine the exact version of these tokens you have. It a 1st variety of some sort I believe. There are just over 100 varieties, so clicking on the links at that site will show that the differences can be very slight, so clear details need to be seen.

nhbenz, I used to live in Seabrook, NH. Is Brentwood anywhere near that? Just curious.

I loved New Hampshire. Beautiful place. I'd love to go back for a visit.
