Boy Scout button/pin?

Need help identifying this item for a friend. It's about 2" in diameter and 1/4" thick. I'm thinking a button, but I not sure. This is the only picture I have.

Thoughts?

Well that was my request as well. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I've gotten so far. I haven't seen it in person myself so what you see is what I see. Sorry, I know this doesn't make it any easier.

The eagle sure doesn't look like any I've seen on Boy Scout stuff. Looks more like the older military(civil war) style pose.

Yup looks good to me . You can see the same design behind the eagle in the link you provided.

I'm just not seeing anything with the same eagle. They all seem to be looking right, and the head is not facing at an angle up.

That is a Boy Scout token with the motto "Be Prepared" in the scroll underneath.
